请教我使用 anyway and anyways的例句。
A:
If you were just talking about something and then you want to change the subject, you would say, "anyway, enough about that."
Or if you start talking to someone about a subject without asking how they are, which is considered rude sometimes, you'd say "Anyways, how are you?"
Anyway and anyways can be used interchangeably. Meaning you can replace anyway with anyways and vice versa.
You would use them when you are changing the subject from one thing to another

"Anyways"的近义词和区别
Q:
anyways 和 anyway 和有什么不一样?
A:
There is no difference. They are just two variations on the same word. I have read that "anyway" is used more in the US and "anyways" is used more in the UK, but I don't know if that is true. We use both here in the US. The same is true for backward/backwards and forward/forwards.
But sideways is always sideways. There is no "sideway".

Q:
I fucked up anyways 和 I am fucked up anyways 和有什么不一样?
A:
Just so you know "fucked up" is considered quite vulgar.
But "I fucked up" = I made a mistake
"I am fucked up" generally implies you are drunk or high.

Q:
after all 和 anyways
at the end of the sentence 和有什么不一样?
at the end of the sentence 和有什么不一样?
A:
An example for after all used to support smth that has been said earlier: „She shouldn‘t be working so hard - she is 70, after all“.
It can also be used to contradict what has been said or thought before: „it didn‘ rain after all“.
After all is often used when you didn‘t expect something. Anyway is more used as „in spite of“ e.g. „it is not raining but you bring an umbrella anyway“ (you bring the umbrella in spite of the fact that it does not rain).
In the first example the person talking was expecting rain, whereas in the second example it is a fact that it is not raining but that does not bother the speaker to bring the umbrella.
They are very similar but you still have to be careful since they are not always interchangeable.

Q:
anyways 和 anyway 和有什么不一样?
A:
The only difference is that “anyways” is incorrect (it’s not a real word). You can say it to be silly but otherwise, say “anyway”.
Q:
anyways, 和 anyway, 和有什么不一样?
A:
Anyways is a more informal form of anyway usually used in speech. Anyway would be better used there. Anyway means "in any case". For example: "She left without me, but I didn't want to go there, anyway." "I can't believe he said that to you. Anyway, I should get back to work."

Q:
What does "Not that hard anyways" mean?
It hasn't rained here in months
Not that hard anyways
It hasn't rained here in months
Not that hard anyways
A:
I think you mean "it's not that hard anyway" if so then it means that there is no need for rain / it will not make life harder if it rains or not. It's like 別に in Japanese.
Q:
I think that even if we had tried to start over again, we would have broken up anyways. We weren't a good match in the first place. 听起来自然吗?
A:
Although it's good, this is better :
"I think that even if we had start over, we would have broken up again anyways. We weren't a good match in the first place."
"I think that even if we had start over, we would have broken up again anyways. We weren't a good match in the first place."
Q:
"But, it's already great anyways!" 听起来自然吗?
A:
Saying “But it’s already great!” or “But it’s great anyways!” sounds a little more natural to me. Having both already and anyway in the same sentence seems unnecessary.
Q:
how to use "anyway and anyways" in conversations?
A:
it's like these two are same
Q:
is it okay to say "anyways"?, I have been hearing thst in a you tube chanel but i thougth you can obly say it in singular.
A:
@nekk: This is a colloquial dialect thing. In formal writing this is not acceptable in anyway shape or form. (This of course excludes writing publications where the intended "style" is that of a highly colloquial form. )
However, you will frequently find that what is grammatically acceptable is not always adhered to in the spoken language. For example, I know English grammar down to the smallest detail, but when I speak, I speak very colloquially and very often completely ignore definitive grammar rules. I use anyways very often in the spoken language because it simply "flows" better in many situations. You will even see me write it, in casual writing when I do not do proofreading. However, when I am making a serious blog article, or writing for a magazine, I would never use "anyways" EVER. I would have multiple proofreaders check it as well as an editor to catch mistakes like this.
Fun fact: In Old English "anyways" is used and is grammatically correct, and is the reason we have the word in our language today, however for whatever reason it gradually became weeded out of formal writing and now is considered to be completely wrong.
