A suggestion on the other hand is used in the sense of giving an idea. Suggestion, seems to be used as a plan or an idea without any command or control and manipulation. It is used to describe any suggestion in general.
Ex 1)Please give comments and suggestions for our new house.
Key differences: advice(means an opinion recommended or offered) while suggestion (an idea or a fact that is put ahead for analysis or consideration).

You also need to be careful with the usage of advice and advise; suggest and suggestion; hint and tip.

These are some methods I use when learning a language

1) find a website that offers the newspaper in English. See if there is a website that gives you the news in simplified English so it's easier for you at the beginning. You can read this at breakfast, for example, and take note of words you don't understand.

2) find a YouTube channel you like that is run by someone who speaks in English. That way you can learn the language and have fun. A lot of the time, there will be subtitles available for you as well. You could set these to be in your native language first, and then in English so you can see how the words the person is saying are spelled.

3) learn the lyrics to a song or to many songs that you like. It doesn't really matter if you understand at first because you will still get used to the pronunciation of the language, and you will remember words more easily because there is a tune!

It would sound natural and a bit more understandable like this: "Hi guys, I'm learning English, but I'm a bit too shy to talk with my friends cause I'm afraid of making mistakes. Do you guys have any advice? Thanks!"

Don't be shy! It's ok to make mistakes. Everyone does it, even with their own native language. Just relax, focus more on using English to communicate and focus less on making no mistakes. If you do that you'll learn pretty quickly. :)
