关于Unrest的意思和用法的提问

A: ‘Civil unrest’ is a general term for when the people of a country are doing things like protesting aggressively, rioting, looting, fighting with the police etc.

E.g.
The civil unrest back home (where you originally came from) is getting worse every day.

A: not at peace.

A: nationwide: Que abarca toda una nacion.
unrest: Sin descanso

A: Unrest = People doing the wrong thing, being upset etc.
Racially informed = Do to with the color of someone's skin

The people being upset was do to with the color of someone/some people's skin (race).

A: I usually think that unrest is closer to anger and malaise is closer to depressed.

For example, when people dislike policies and have demonstrations or riots, those are examples of unrest. On the other side, when people think things will get worse so they invest in foreign countries (or products) then those are examples of malaise.
