Hi there, here's the one I want to ask you guys:

in this sentence "You being assigned to me is just for me to set an example for the rest of the team", can "You" be substituted for "Your"? Like, Your being assigned to me is ....

And could I ask what grammatical phenomena is "Subject + Verb-ing" prlease? Thank you for your help!

I’m about 95% sure that both options are examples of a noun phrase
