关于日语 的问题

In the movie "Always. Sunset on the 3d street" Tomoe Suzuki says something similar to 悪魔なんていて or 悪魔なんていって which is translated as "He is not a devil" but I do not understand how come. Can you explain what does that mean and which sentences of the 2 is correct with or without double T?
