@letmegohome After that first sentence, if I say 그걸 처음으로 만들었어요 ( i made this/that for the first time) - is this colloquial/correct?. Will 이걸 sound more natural here Or 그걸? I used 그걸 because people already know what I am talking about. But feel free to correct :)

@R91
"저는 오늘 밤에 맛있는 쫄면을 만들었어요, 처음으로요."
"저는 오늘 밤에 맛있는 쫄면을 만들었어요. 쫄면은 처음 만들어(끓여 is more natural but as you want) 봤어요."
These two would be the best.
*All the articles below are explanations, so read them if you need.
Well in that sentence, just removing '그걸' or '이걸' would be more natural. Because in korean, people don't use Indicative Pronounces. They just omit it.
In literary writing or formal language, koreans use both Indicative Pronounces and formal-sentence-ending(-입니다, -예요, -이다, etc).
But in colloquial language or informal writing, both of them are omitted.
If you want to add the phrase 'for the first time', just use '처음으로요' after the sentence.
Like, "저는 오늘 밤에 저녁으로 맛있는 쫄면을 만들었어요, 처음으로요."
Maybe it can be confused whether the first one you made was "맛있는 쫄면" or just "쫄면," so you can just add the sentence "쫄면은 처음 만들어 봤어요."
Like, in english, the word that is already mentions before, called 'it', 'this' or 'that' so as not their name, but as pronounces.
But in korean, usually they omit it.
In english, "I made it for the first time." would be natural, but in korean, "I made for the first time." would be natural.
Of course I'm talking into english now so it is akward, but in korean, it is natural.
It's similar to omitting of spanish(IDK how much you're familiar with it but, just hope it helps you).

@letmegohome This is very helpful ! 쫄면은 처음 만들어 봤어요 - i kind of understand this sentence but i would like to understand the grammatical elements that are used here. I understand that 은 in 쯜면 here gives the nuance that it is Jjolmyeon that i made for the first time and not anything else. But i didnt know that its okay to use particle 은 even when the word is an object of the sentence? 쫄면은 처음 만들어 봤어요 - translate app shows the translation for this as - "I made Jjolmyeon for the first time". So if Jjolmyeon is the object of the sentence, we can still use just 은 after 쯜면 without adding object particle 을? Or is the translate app showing wrong translation? I would like to know the exact reason of why particle 은 is used after the word Jjolmyeon in this sentence as I know there are various/different uses of this particle. Maybe 은 here just indicates the topic of the sentence and nothing else? Can you confirm?
Also, can you tell why 으로 is removed after 처음 in this sentence? Sorry, i dont want to confuse you but i want to make sure i understand the grammar properly if at all its possible for you to explain. Based on my native language, I think I understand how 처음 would sound and how 처음으로 would sound. Rest everything i understood :) i like watching korean historical dramas and a lot of formal korean is used in those TV shows so i can relate that they use lot of 이걸 and 그걸 in formal korean TV shows. So what you said makes sense :) I watch videos of a certified korean tutor but he is no longer available for answering questions so i am kind of stuck until i hire a new tutor for learning and strengthening my korean grammar hehe... i continue to watch his videos but he is not available for Q&A/practicing so i practice here on HiNative. Papago-naver shows the translation as " It's my first time making jjolmyeon". Meaningwise, i have understood the sentence but i am trying to understand the grammar - that way i will be able to start making these sentences myself..
