can't it be I swallowed as well (bal3t?). what's the verb for be clingy (I mena I know bylazzi2 but it's a different one here). and could you finally give me an example for grab attention so I understand precisely?

⚫ I hung up the phone: فصلت fasal(e)t
or
قطعت الخط
2ata3t el 5att
⚫ استلم "stalam - yistilim" is very common.
he picks on me - byistilimni بيستلمني
he picked on me - stalamni استلمني
the precise meaning is to keep picking on a certain sb.
⚫ move on as in get over it
⚫ I swallowed: Bala3(e)t / Bla3(e)t
So yes it could be, depending on how you read it it
⚫ انجلق njala2 - yinjili2
The difference between this and "lazza2" is that "njala2" is more specific: it refers to clinging to someone and overwhelming them with your needs or requests"
انجلق عليي njala2 3layyi
⚫ لفتني الشب Lafatni el shabb - the guy grabbed my attention
لفتوني ألوان هالكنزة Lafatouni alwēn hal kanze - the colours of this shirt grabbed my attention

@if1234if you're welcome
⚫ Both are equally common imo.
⚫ I looked in a thesaurus. I think a better translation for "stalam" is “torment”.

I got the rest, thank you!

@if1234if
stalam can be serious or a joke. a better translation is "to target sb/have it out for sb". sorry that i keep changing the translations. it's hard to translate off colloquial arabic because there's no standard dictionaries for it so when i think of a better translation, i can't not say it.
⚫ استلمني الدكنجي. كل ما يشوفني، بيتمسخر عليي.
Stalamni el dikkanji. Kill ma yshoufni, byitmas5ar 3alayyi
The grocer targeted me. Whenever he sees me, he makes fun of me.
⚫ استلموني التلاميذ. ما بقول كلمة إلا بيبلشوا يتضحكوا.
Stalamouni el tlēmīz. Ma b2oul kilme illa bybalsho yitda77ako
The students targeted me. Whenever I say a word, they begin to laugh.

Lamma w2i3it 2iddēm i5wēti ana w z8īre, stalamouni. Bydallo yzakrouni fiyya!
When I fell in front of my siblings when I was young, they targeted me. They keep reminding me of it.

@muhannad_g whhats the difference between nammaro, and tnammaro. usually I know it transitive and intransitive but it would make sense right?
- 阿拉伯语
@if1234if Usually you're right, that's the rule, but in this case there isn't a difference.
“Tnammar” is also shared with standard arabic (but it's still used informally), while “nammar” is only colloquial
